How does a breakout experience start?
Before kickoff, you’ll be assigned to a small group that includes two “captains” (think facilitators) and added to WhatsApp group chats to guide you through our daily schedule—intimate sessions, larger community activities, and plenty of moments for fun.
what are our main locations?
Breakout experiences are interactive and across the city. At times it’s a full group experience, while others will be "choose your own adventure."
Our home base for out-of-towners will be the downtown Miami Gale. That is also where we will have transportation taking off from each AM on Friday and Saturday. Locals may choose to just meet us at the meeting points.

When does the PRogramming start?
Most of you will be traveling from across the country, so don’t stress—you can arrive anytime on Thursday, but welcome programming will kick off at 5 PM EST (subject to change). Friday & Saturday programming will run approximately from 8am - 10pm and conclude at Noon EST on Sunday, albeit we know for some you might have to leave first thing on Sunday to get home.
We will be releasing the schedule at the end of January.
What should I bring?
We’ll be out and about for long stretches, so wear what makes you feel comfortable. Think comfy shoes and daytime wear, plus something that makes you feel great for nighttime events.
Who’s Attending?
Mission-driven leaders, civic dreamers, and creative thinkers. This includes entrepreneurs, investors, artists, non-profit executive directors, intrapreneurs, and more.
Have you done this before?
Yes! In 2014, we launched our inaugural Breakout Flagship Experience in none other than Miami, followed up with another Miami experience in 2016.
Over the last 10 years, we have hosted events in Atlanta, Baltimore, Detroit, New Orleans, Newark, Tulsa, Portland, New York City, Chicago, Tulsa, LA, San Francisco, and Philly.
How much do tickets cost?
National tickets start at $2,050 for the weekend. This includes your stay at The Gale Miami Hotel, wellness activities, entertainment, food and drinks, and everything you’ll need—except transportation to Miami. Payment plans are available.
Local tickets are by invitation only and are $1,450.

RSVP! We’d love to hear more about you, why you want to attend, and if you know anyone in the Breakout community. Referrals are highly valued but not required. We’re thoughtful about our crew, as this experience is just as much about your why as your what.
refund policy?
Full refund until January 15th.
Before February 1st: 75% credit toward the experience
February 1st - 20th: 50% credit for a future experience
After February 20th: no refund
eTickets are non-exchangeable.
